Pixar’s latest, Inside Out  was one of the most anticipated movies of the summer. And with good reason.

Amazingly insightful, delightfully droll, the tale is primarily told from the view of 11 year old Riley. Her different emotions (happiness, anger, sadness, etc) are brought to life as individual characters as she learns to deal with them and the ways they make her react and feel. Like the Boggart in Harry Potter, some of Riley’s fears are characterized in their forms – clowns alert! Creative and clever, engaging and inventive, Inside Out also has underlying themes of friendship, acceptance and the all-important need to understand and express all of one’s emotions – positive and negative.

Most of the content is great for even preschoolers with some additional explanation. But ages 6 and up will get it and love it.
