The plot – Elsa and Anna are the two princesses of Arendelle. Elsa possesses magical powers of making anything/anyone into ice and accidentally freezes her sister during their childhood. Their parents set this right but then isolate Elsa to keep her powers in check, which leads to the princesses growing apart from each other and Anna feeling lonely. After their parents death (yes, once again parents die in this Disney tale), Elsa is going to be crowned Queen. Anna, being lonely, wants to meet other people, who’ve been invited for the Coronation. But what she wants more than anything is to find a Prince Charming, whom she does- in Prince Hans. She wants to marry him after a courtship of one day. Elsa’s disapproval of the relationship takes the form of a Kingdom frozen in ice that can only be thawed by true love as she flees in panic.

The crux- How Anna finds her sister with the help of Kristoff, an iceman, his reindeer, Sven and Olaf, and their childhood snowman is the main attraction. With catchy songs, this Disney musical is all set to enrapture young minds.

Note- Parents of pre-schoolers need to be aware of some slightly scary scenes that involve armed men, snarling wolves, severe storms, and scary snow monsters. Characters fall in love and kisses are shared. The theme of the story is unconditional love between sisters even after a long estrangement, being true to oneself, recognizing your talents, and not being afraid of your powers.
