Premise:  The book is about the story of a pig called Wilbur and his friendship with a spider called Charlotte. How these two seemingly different creatures help each other out is the crux of the story. This is a heart warming story of friendship and love that appeals to all ages. The plot has many twists and turns, keeping the reader engaged and interested.  A tear jerker about the realities of life, told in a gentle, positive way; this book  introduces the difficult  concept of death to a child. It mainly draws children into reading it time and again because of the animals portrayed in the story.
