Procedure:

  1. Heat a  non-stick vessel.Add ghee or olive oil and add chopped onion and saute till it turns translucent and a slight brown in color
  2. Add the cubed sweet potato or you can use any yellow vegetable like carrot,pumpkin or potato ,tomato,salt and mix well
  3. Saute for 5 minutes.Add water and close the lid .Boil until the sweet potatoes are well cooked
  4. Switch off the flame and let it cool
  5. After cooling.Blend the boiled mixture in a food processor or blender in a soup like consistency with no lumps
  6. Heat the low fat milk
  7. Boil the blended mixture with the noodles (optional).After the bubbles start  appearing,  add the hot milk and pepper.The soup and the milk should be of the same temperature, otherwise, milk can curdle.
  8. Serve this in a bowl!
  9. You can add a teaspoon of ghee or butter to the soup if you are giving it to the children
