Spinach cheese balls

Breakfast

Ingredients:

  • Spinach puree: ¼ cup,
  • Bread crumbs: ¾ cup,
  • Grated Mozzarella cheese at room temperature: ½ cup,
  • Red chilly flakes: 1 tsp,
  • Fine chopped onion: ¼ cup,
  • Corn flour: I tbsp,
  • Grated garlic: ¼ tsp,
  • Salt and Oil for frying

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl mix together spinach puree, grated garlic, bread crumbs,corn flour and pinch of salt.
  2. Mix them well and make a soft dough and keep it aside.
  3. If you feel mixture is too soft add some more bread crumbs.
  4. In another bowl mix together cheese, chilly flakes and fine chopped onions.
  5. Take small portion of cheese mixture and make small balls and keep them aside.
  6. Now take some oil and grease your hands and take portion of spinach dough and pat it to small disc.
  7. Put one cheese ball in the center of spinach disc and cover the cheese ball from all the sides.
  8. Gently roll the ball and keep it aside.
  9. In this way make all the cheese balls.
  10. Once spinach cheese balls are ready once again grease your hands with oil and roll and smoothen the balls once again.
  11. Deep fry these balls till they are brown and crispy from both the sides.
  12. Serve them hot and crisp with chilly sauce and ketchup.
