Soy Bean Stir Fry With Dal And Chapathi
Ingredients For Grinding
- 2 to 3 tablespoons Grated Coconut
- 1.5 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Red chilies
- 2 small Garlic cloves

Soak the soy beans over night and drain water away the next day. Cook in the pressure cooker with salt and a little water (about 1/4 cup).
Grind the ingredients listed under ‘Ingredients For Grinding’ to a coarse paste and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and temper the ingredients listed under ‘Ingredients For Tempering’.
Add the chopped onions and fry till softened. Now, add the cooked soy beans. Add turmeric and ground paste and add 1/4 cup water and stir. Cook for a few minutes or until water evaporates and the masala starts to brown.
Switch off flame and serve hot with chapathi and dal.
