  1. To prepare soya chunks, soak the soya chunks in 2 cups of warm water with salt for 10-12 minutes and close the lid. when soya chunks are soaked well, squeeze well until all water gone, discard the water.
  2. Boil water adding some turmeric powder and turn off the fire. Immerse paneer cubes in it and keep aside. This process prevents paneer cubes from breaking down.Drain the paneer cubes well and shallow fry paneer with little oil (you can completely skip this process and use the cubed paneer as such)
  3. Heat oil in a Non-stick pan Add the cumin seeds and allow them to splutter
  4. Add the onion and fry till translucent. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes off
  5. Add the chili,turmeric,coriander ,curry masala powder,curry leaves and fry for 30 seconds and stir in the tomato puree and boil till the gravy thickens
  6. Add the soya chunks,garam masala powder,capsicum , and paneer and mix well
  7. Cook for 2 -3 minutes and switch off the flame

You can serve this paneer soya chunks masala with chapathi or whole wheat Naan
