Pancakes with caramelized apples

Ingredients:

For caramelized apples:

  1. 2 cups chopped apples
  2. 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  3. 1/4 tsp salt
  4. 2 tsp butter

For pancakes:

  1. 2 Tbsp white sugar
  2. 1/4 tsp salt
  3. 1 1/2 cup flour
  4. 1/2 cup corn flour
  5. 1 tsp baking powder
  6. 1/2 cup milk

Procedure:

For caramelized apples:

  1. Add apples, salt, sugar and butter in a pan
  2. Pour 1 tsp of lemon juice in the mixture and cook over low heat
  3. Keep stirring, until the apples are soft and brownish in colour
  1. For pancakes:
  2. Add sugar, salt and baking powder in the mixture of corn flour and flour
  3. Pour milk to a pancake consistency, while stirring it slowly
  4. Add 1 tsp butter in a non-stick pan
  5. Ladle out a large spoon of pancake mixture into the pan
  6. Cook over medium heat till brown
  7. Flip the pancake to cook both the sides

Serve with caramelized apples!
