Chocolate Lava Cake ( The yummiest cake with only 5 ingredients )

113 grams  Semi-sweet / dark chocolate

113 grams + to grease the ramekins   softened butter

2 eggs

1/4 cup / (40 grams)  Maida ( All purpose flour)

1/3 Cup/ (75 grams)  Sugar





1.  In a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate until it is shiny. Remove pan from the heat and add the butter, mix it until the butter is completely melted and set the mixture aside to cool.

2. Beat the 2 eggs and sugar until light and fluffy ( hand mixer for 2-3 mins)or ( manually 5-6 mins)

3. Add the chocolate butter mixture to the eggs and sugar mixture and mix with spatula.

4.Preheat the oven to 180 C  ( 350 F ) for about 10 minutes.

5. Add flour to this mixture and mix with  spatula.

6. Grease the ramekins and put in the mixture. Estimate the time you want to bake , which depends on your oven. I bake  it for 8 or 9 mins for it to be gooey in the center. You can bake it for 8 mins and see if you need to bake it for more time.

7. Leave the cake to cool and serve it with ice cream…..Enjoy !! 🙂
