A maternity pillow or pregnancy pillow is a pillow specifically designed to make the pregnant woman comfortable enough to fall asleep, especially in the advanced stages of pregnancy. Alternatives to pregnancy pillows: If you are not very keen on spending on a pregnancy pillow, you can try regular pillows around your body. They are not as effective but do provide much better comfort than no pillows at all.
