7 Ways to Bond With Your Unborn Baby

Bonding with your unborn child can be fun and extremely beneficial. You might be unconsciously be bonding right now when you stroke your belly from time to time, listening to music or singing aloud, etc. You may just talk to the baby or get creative and use other ways to bond with the unborn child.

  1. Talk to your baby
    The easiest way to bond with your unborn child is having soft conversations with the bump.
  2. Write letters to your unborn child 
    Write a letter with everything you want to be telling your baby express your emotions, thoughts, etc.
  3. Sing to your baby/ listen to music
    Have a special song maybe for the two of you and listen to it or better yet you can sign it to her now that her auditory senses are developed (well almost.)
  4. Practise Yoga, deep breathing and meditation.
    Yoga, deep breathing and meditation are all extremely effective in helping you relax during the pregnancy and keeping stress at bay thus letting you focus on the baby.
  5. Take pictures of your bump
    Take a side profile picture of yours each week. The changes in your body over the course of the weeks, makes the pregnancy a reality and helps you to bond with your unborn child.
  6. Have an ultrasound scan of the baby around
    Have an ultrasound picture of the baby pinned up where you can see it. This makes the pregnancy easier to come to terms with and thus helps you bond better.
  7. Plant a sapling
    Plant a sapling around the time you realise you are pregnant and care and nurture for it. You will soon have lovely memories associated with the plant.
