1. Aaradhya Bachchan

One of the most talked about celeb in the entire world- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got everyone’s attention even more when she gave birth to a little girl and named her Aaradhya that means  “to be worshiped” or “someone who is worth worshiping” in Sanskrit. Both Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan wanted to stick to their Indian roots while naming their child.

2.Imara Malik Khan

Seems like Aamir Khan’s nephew, Imran Khan has followed his uncle’s idea while naming his child. Keeping his wife’s surname included, the cute-looking Bollywood couple, Avantika and Imran Khan’s daughter is called Imara that means “strong and resolute” as per a Swahili name’s connotation.

3. The Sush Girls

Sushmita Sen, our most favourite single mom from Bollywood, picked out two wonderful names for her daughters. Renee means “to be reborn” and Alicia is a German name, meaning “noble”.

4. The Akhtar Girls

Farhan and Adhuna have two cute daughters. Akira is a Japanese name that means “bright and intelligent”; and it is also the name of Farhan’s favourite director- Akira Kurusawa. And their second daughter’s name is Shakya that means a “circle of energy”.

5. Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor

One of most acknowledged actresses in Hindi cinema- Sridevi Kapoor along with husband Boney Kapoor decided to name their daughters Jahnavi and Khushi, meaning “an entire world” and “happiness” respectively.

6. Mahika and Maira Rampal

One of the most good looking Bollywood actors- Arjun Rampal’s daughters are called Mahika and Maira. He wanted to keep his daughters’ names with the initials of his wife- Mehr’s name. Mahika means “Earth” in Sanskrit, whereas Maira is derived from the Quran and means “A ray of Light that’s swift, fast-moving and penetrating”.

7. Saira Bhupathi

Former Miss Universe- Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi chose a name derived from Arabic and Hebrew languages to name their beautiful daughter. Saira is an alternative of the word ‘Sarah’, which means ‘princess’ in Hebrew, and a ‘bird’ in Arabic.

8. Ameyaa Nirvana Oberoi

Vivek Oberoi welcomed his daughter with wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi this month only. Her name is Ameyaa Nirvana, meaning “the one who is beyond measure and can’t be destroyed”.
