Top 10 seasonal fruits of July your child should snack on!

When we say seasonal fruits of July, often nothing comes to mind. Here’s the list of fruits that are perfect to build your immunity this rainy season.

1. Rainy season mangoes

While the season for mangoes is technically out there are some that are end of the season

varieties that are still available in the market. Try the neelam, dussehri, langda, chausa and totapuri varieties that are still in the mandis and are great for you.

2. Perfect fruit snack is musk melon

Musk melon is not generally preferred by many children because of its pungent smell. But you must serve it the way they’d like it because must melon is rich in potassium and contains high doses of vitamin A and beta carotene.

3. Fruit nutrition in cherries

Your child will love this. Cherries are a great source of fiber and vitamin C.

Why it’s good for your child? In terms of nutrition it has anthocyanins, quercetin, hydroxycinnamates, potassium, carotenoids and melatonin.
