1.  Breastfeeding

Needless to say, breastfeeding has a whole lot of benefits and one of it is tightening skin post-delivery. When you nurse your new born, the uterus contracts, releasing oxytocin, helping you lose weight faster. So, instead of damaging your health with fad diets, resort to nature’s own sweet ways.

2.  Drink more water

You definitely know that you need to drink at least 10 glasses of water in a day. Apart from keeping your skin and hair hydrated, water also delays the ageing process, keeping wrinkles at bay. It also increases the elasticity of the skin, thereby tightening it.

3.  Regular exercise

All said and done, there can be nothing better for your body and mind than a swift workout. So once you are done with your six-week postpartum, don’t hesitate to put on your gym shoes and sweat it out. Cycling, walking, yoga and swimming are all great forms of cardio which will help your skin tighten up and also lose weight faster.

4.  Increase your protein intake

Ask anyone who’s on a diet and they will tell you what proteins can do. Eggs, green leafy vegetables, dhal and pulses are all high on protein and consuming it daily will help increase the collagen in the skin, thereby tightening it.
