Every woman craves for that perfect hourglass figure, especially post-pregnancy. Well, talking about post-baby weight loss, one woman who is back with a bang in no time is none other than our very own Kareena Kapoor Khan! Even before critics started off their rant about her post-pregnancy weight, Bebo was smart enough and was already on her road to shedding weight.

In a recent chat with Facebook, the actress, and her dietician Rujuta Diwekar spilled the beans about the yummy mommy’s weight loss plan and we are sure you don’t want to miss this!

So new mommies, here’s what you need to follow if you want to lose weight the Bebo way!

Say Yes To Milk

Kareena never misses having a tall glass of milk every night, while watching TV. Dairy is rich in CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), a component which helps to burn fat faster, adds Rujuta. “Women lose a lot of calcium during pregnancy. So getting back in shape means accelerating the calcium levels”, says Kareena.

Boost Vitamin B12 Intake

It is not new that new mommies are sleep deprived. As a result, their eyes become puffy, red and yes the dreadful dark circles happily make their way as well. Foods such as Dahi and til ka laddoos (which happens to be Bebo’s favourite), are rich in B12. However, Rujuta also adds that everything must be taken in moderate amounts.

Eat Rice Twice A Day

One thing Rujuta insists is eating rice twice a day. Kareena’s diet chart includes a good portion of rice twice a day. Shocked? Yes, the reason is that eating rice allows you to bring back a lot of the good bacteria that something as strenuous as a delivery may wash out.

Refrain From Crash Diets

One thing that Kareena stresses upon is to say no to crash diets. Post pregnancy, your body needs time to heal and going on crash diets at this time only means slowing your metabolism.

Go For A Walk

Kareena is a big yoga fan. But that aside, the gorgeous mommy also swears by walking. In fact, her big sister Karisma who had gained 26 kilos during pregnancy lost it all in a year. Plus, little Taimur prefers being carried and walked around, so that’s another way the mommy gets to exercise.
