Bollywood’s Debutantes of 2018

Astounding new faces, all the time, bring more anticipation and excitement  in Bollywood fans. In favor of our enjoyment, every year, we have some remarkable young actors getting into the glamorous world of Bollywood. Get ready to take a look at the new faces we’re going to get familiar during 2018. Compared to 2017, we will see a lot more star kids making their debuts lighting up the silver screens this year.  Here is the list of 10 fresh faces we shall be seeing in Bollywood this year. When most of them comes from a strong film background, some have no such heredity.

#1. Janhvi Kapoor

       Film name: Dhadak

       Co-star: Ishaan Khattar


Karan Johar took it upon himself to launch Janhvi, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's beautiful daughter, in Dhadak, a remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat, which is being directed by Shashank Khaitan. Janhvi is quite popular on social media and has a huge fan following. Janhvi's co-star in Dhadak is Ishaan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor's little brother. However, this isn't Ishaan's first film. Ishaan made his debut in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds, and bagged a Best Actor award at the Bosphorus Film Festival in Turkey. Eventhen, Dhadak will be his first Bollywood film, and we look forward to an intense performance.

#2. Sara Ali Khan

Film Name: Kedarnath

Co-star: Sushant Singh Rajput

Sara Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore's grand-daughter, Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan's little girl, and Soha Ali Khan's niece -- is ready for her showbiz career. Name of movie is Kedarnath Sushant Singh Rajput is her co-start and the movie is set against the horrific 2013 Uttarakhand floods. The release date of the movie is also out which is December 21, 2018. The movie is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, who has given hits like Kai Po Che and Rock On.

#3. Karan Deol

Film Name: Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas

Co-star: Saher Bamba romantic comedy

Sunny Deol launches his son Karan in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. The romantic musical comedy, set in Himachal Pradesh and  takes its title from the chartbuster picturised on Karan's grandfather Dharmendra in the 1970s.  The movie is directed and produced Sunny himself. It will be a big gift to the fans of Deol family.Karan's co-star is Saher Bamba, a newbie from Himachal Pradesh, who gets her first taste of Bollywood with Sunny Deol's film. 

#4. Utkarsh Sharma 

Filim Name: Genius

Co-star:: Ishita Chauhan


Anil Sharma, who has made blockbusters with Dharmendra and Sunny Deol, launches son Utkarsh in Genius. A dramatic thriller, the film had a starry mahurat with Dharmendra and Hema Malini in attendance.

Movie: Baazaar

Co-star: Saif Ali Khan

 Nikkhil Advani launches Late Vinod Mehra's son Rohan in Baazaar, which also stars Saif Ali Khan. 

#6. Banita Sandhu

Movie: October

Co-star: Varun Dhawan

"If reports are to be believed then Varun Dhawan's forthcoming film 'October' helmed by Shoojit Sircar, is inspired by the Hollywood Oscar nominated flick 'Her'. The film that is centred around Varun's character revolves around an unusual love story which has never been seen before in Bollywood"- Reports TOI. You may have seen Binita Sandhu in a cute Doublemint advert previously, but the girl from Wales in the UK couldn't have had a better start in Bollywood than this varun dhavan movie. Shoojit Sircar signed her on this movie. October is one of the most awaited films of 2018.

#7. Mouni Roy

Movie: Gold

Co-star: Akshay Kumar


One of the small screen's top actresses, Mouni (Naagin fame actress )makes her big screen debut in Reema Kagti's Gold. Starring Akshay Kumar, Gold is based on Olympic legend Balbir Singh's life.

#8. Aayush Sharma

Movie: Loveratri

Co-Star: Yet to be finalize. 

Salman Khan recently announced   that he will be launching Aayush Sharma in Bollywood. Aayush Sharma is the husband of Salman's sister Arpita Khan and adorable father to Ahil. Salman Khan's brother-in-law, makes his acting debut in Loveratri. Along with Aayush Sharma, Abhiraj Minawal will be making his directorial debut in Bollywood.

#9. Abhimanyu Dasani

Movie: Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota

Co-star: Radhika Madan

Yesteryear actress Bhagyashree’s son, Abhimanyu, will step in with a quirky action comedy titled Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. To be directed by Vasan Bala, who wrote and directed the 2012 crime-thriller Peddlers,Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’s release date is still not confirmed. Radhika Madan, the Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi star, has been signed opposite Bhagyashree's son Abhimanyu Dassani for his debut film

Daughter of Pooja Bedi, sizzling Aalia is also set to make her debut in 2018, as confirmed by her mother to a daily some months back. However, no details about her film was revealed.
