Amitabh pens a heart-felt about his health to his fans!

Last evening, everyone was left shocked when news of Amitabh Bachchan being admitted to Lilavati hospital started doing the rounds. It was later found out that the veteran actor had been to the hospital for a routine checkup given his history with stomach ailments. However, seeing Senior Bachchan return home with son Abhishek, covering his face with a muffler, only further raised questions about his health. Needless to say, fans started flooding the veteran actor’s timeline with concerned messages and get well soon wishes. After all, it’s Amitabh Bachchan, who is nothing less than God for the film fanatics.

Amitabh Bachchan, himself penned down a poem for his well wishers, which he posted on his blog. Describing the panic situation that took place after his visit to the hospital, Big B, in his poetic language addressed the media frenzy and admitted to being scared at first last evening, which made him hide is face at the back of a muffler. Furthermore, he said how he considers the hospital to be nothing less than a temple and expresses his gratitude to the doctors, for if it hadn’t been for them, he wouldn’t have been up and about today. जी हाँ जनाब मैं अस्पताल जाता हूँ
बचपन से ही इस प्रतिकिया को जीवित रखता हूँ ,
वहीं तो हुई थी मेरी प्रथम पयदाइशि चीत कार
वहीं तो हुआ था अविरल जीवन का मेरा स्वीकार
इस पवित्र स्थल का अभिनंदन करता हूँ मैं
जहाँ इस्वर बनाई प्रतिमा की जाँच होती है तय
धन्य है वे ,
धन्य हैं वे
जिन्हें आत्मा को जीवित रखने का सौभाग्य मिला
भाग्य शाली हैं वे जिन्हें , उन्हें सौभाग्य देने का सौभाग्य ना मिला

‘रास्ता रोको’ का ऐलान किया पत्र मंडली ने जर्जर
चाका चौंद कर देने वाले हथियार बरसाते हैं ये
मानो सीमा पार कर देने का दंड देना चाहते हैं वे
समझ आता है मुझे इनका व्यवहार ;
समझ आता है मुझे, इनका व्याहार
प्रत्येक छवि वार है ये उनका व्यवसाय आधार ,
बाधा ना डालूँगा उनकी नित्य क्रिया पर कभी

The two legendary actors are reuniting after 27 years with this film, which makes it all the more special. The film is based on a Gujarati play by the same name. Besides, Big B will also be seen in Aditya Chopra’s Thugs of Hindostan, that also stars Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Katrina Kaif. It is slated to release in Diwali this year.
