Residential Summer Camps across India

18th December 2018

Summer vacation is right around the corner and options for summer camp today are at a different level compared to what parents have seen before. Gone are the days when summers were spent rolling around grandma’s house, climbing trees, eating your favourite foods and taking long naps. Today summer camp options can be exciting, adventurous and thrilling. Before you decide on a summer camp for your child, you might want to ask the following questions:

1. Is your child ready for a day camp or a residential camp?

2. What is the focus of the camp? Match your child’s interests to what the camp offer. There are many options like academic camps focusing on math, science, sports, and art and of course- there are outdoor camps.

3. What is the background of the person running the camp and what are their credentials?

4. How do they handle discipline issues involving kids- when they arise?

5. Do they have medical support on site?

6. What is the child to care taker ratio?

7. What is a sample day itinerary?

8. How will you handle it if my child feels homesick?

9. What kind of safety procedures do you have?

10. Do you do a background check for your staff?

Once these questions have been answered, the options for summer camp these days are really exciting. We have highlighted a few of them below:
