Mumbai Event: Explore The Jungles Of Bhimashankar By The Western Routes

21st July 2018

Join The Western Routes as we head to explore the enchanting forests of Bhimashankar!

Enjoy the truly memorable experience of walking through the densely forested hills. This is one of the finest forests of northern Western Ghats. Home to the Indian Giant Squirrel (Shekru) – the state animal of Maharashtra, the forests of Bhimashankar are probably one of the best places to see these creatures in the wild. Bhimashankar is also the site of an ancient Shiv Temple, which is one of the 12 Jyotirlings in the country.

We spend 2 days exploring the area! We will be staying at the beautiful Blue Mormon Resort, which is an excellent place for Moth Watching at night.
