About the Walk:
Humayun‘s tomb was built in 1570 CE by Humayun’s first wife Bega Begum. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. It inspired several major architectural innovations in Delhi and in Agra. Despite the architectural wonders of this tomb, there is something poetic and enchanting about its surroundings. Through this walk we will not only explore the nooks and corners of both Humayun’s Tomb and Isa Khan’s tomb but we we will also create an enriching experience through poetry and stories.
